“The food is fresh, the space is sophisticated, yet the vibe is local and welcoming.”

La Volpe, which means “the fox” in Italian, draws inspiration from the simple and seasonal cooking traditions of Italy with touches of  Southern influence and our passion for hospitality.

Executive Chef Will Eason's evolving seasonal menu showcases the restaurant's relationships with local farms and purveyors offering something for everyone.

La Volpe is conveniently located in downtown Austin’s Convention Center District in a rustic brick building. Guests will appreciate the attention to detail throughout the relaxed and chic space featuring intimate dining nooks, exposed brick and beams, a vintage teardrop chandelier from Italy, and an outdoor courtyard lush with olive trees.

The bar, a focal point of the restaurant with its dynamic floor-to-ceiling shelving housing fun exotic finds adding to the playfulness of the space. The bar features an array of specialty selected wines, craft beers and a full bar featuring handcrafted cocktails infused with fresh herbs and spices. Vintage Italian ties are showcased in a custom-built frame with the Italian phrase “Legare Uno Su” which means “tie one on.”

Take a break from your busy day with a bite and a glass of wine, have a date night, gather with friends, bring the whole family, or have us help you your next dinner party or private event.

Buon appetito!
